Man charged after police find weapons at Liscard property

A 45-year-old has been charged after officers responding to reports of a suspected handgun found a zombie knife, a knuckle duster and a BB gun at an address in Liscard.

A man has been charged following an incident in Liscard. Police found multiple weapons at a property in the area.

As reported by Birkenhead News, at around 7:10 pm on 8 August, Merseyside Police received a report that a man had been seen with a handgun placed in his waistband on Wallasey Road. No injuries were reported, but officers detained the man following the report. A search of a property uncovered a BB gun, a knuckle duster, and a zombie knife.

The man in question is identified as Michael Meyerhoff, 45, of Moseley Avenue in Liscard. He was charged with possession of an imitation firearm in a public place and two counts of possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.
