A woman was arrested following an assault in Woodchurch in which multiple people were allegedly bitten.
According to the Wirral Globe, officers got to the scene at 5:20 pm on June 26. There were reports that a woman had shouted explicitly at another woman and then assaulted her. An altercation then took place.
It is alleged that a woman, also there, bit a man and another woman as they tried to intervene.
A 32-year-old was arrested on suspicion of three counts of assault causing actual bodily harm. She has since been bailed with conditions.
Woodchurch was also the other location of a serious assault last week following a stabbing on Hoole Road, on the Woodchurch estate. A man in his 60s suffered serious injuries after being stabbed near a row of shops. He was injured in his shoulder and ribcage, and a man in his 40s, from Noctorum, was arrested on suspicion of Section 18 assault. He appeared in court yesterday.
