Liscard man charged with dangerous driving after lenghty police pursuit

A 26-year-old from Liscard faces multiple charges including dangerous driving and assaulting a police officer following a pursuit across Wirral.

The 26-year-old was arrested last week and appeared in court on June 18.

A Liscard man has been charged with dangerous driving and assaulting a police officer following a pursuit across Wirral earlier this month.

Kane Ardron, 26, faces a total of eight charges after an incident that began in Caldy on the evening of Wednesday, 10 June.

Merseyside Police received a report at around 7.50 pm that a man was driving a car erratically on Croft Drive, Caldy. Officers pursued the vehicle and detained a man near Arrowe Brook Road.

Ardron has been charged with two counts of dangerous driving, Section 47 assault of an officer, four counts of criminal damage to a police vehicle and other vehicles, failing to provide a specimen for analysis, and possession of cannabis, according to Birkenhead News.

He appeared at Wirral Adult Remand Court on Thursday, 18 June.
