Tranmere Rovers have revealed their new home kit for the 2026/2027 season, and it features a design inspired by the landscape of the Wirral.
As reported by the Wirral Globe, the club said the shirt was "designed to represent the identity, pride and spirit of the Wirral." It features a bespoke topography pattern throughout the fabric, inspired by the contours of the peninsula.
A spokesperson for Rovers said: "Every line within the intricate topography design tells part of our story. The shirt represents the shared identity that unites Tranmere fans everywhere – the Wirral."
The club remains in its traditional all-white strip with the blue and green colour accents. Down the centre of the kit is a blue and green stripe. Pairing with the shirt are all-white shorts and socks.
It seems the Rovers are trading out the old and in with the new, as they have also acquired SURE Solutions as their new sponsor for the upcoming season. SURE is an industrial refrigeration business based in the Wirral. The club called the partnership "a proud and meaningful moment".
The kit launch was held at Wirral Transport Museum. The club thanked the museum as well as sponsor Dean Paton for their support during the photoshoot.
A limited number of adult home shirts were available to purchase in-store during Tranmere's Family Day on July 12, with remaining stock going on general sale online from 5 pm the same day. Limited training wear was also available in-store.
However, mini and children's kits experienced a delivery delay and are supposed to arrive at the end of this week. Preorders are now open, and any orders will be sent out once the stock arrives, although the club hasn't announced a number yet.
