Another free Christmas lights switch is coming to the area, this time to Eastham Ferry Hotel.
The riverside hotel on Ferry Road is kicking off the festive season this Saturday, 7 November with the free event, beginning at 6 pm.
The evening promises to have great food, live entertainment, mulled wine, and surprises.
Eastham Ferry Hotel was restored in October 2024 following an £800,000 restoration project.
If you need another incentive, organisers promise there will be free hot dogs, and the promised mulled wine will also be free!
Christmas songs will be performed by a live festive singer, and the event is family-friend, with the hotel inviting adults, children, and families alike to join in on the festive fun.
There has been some cryptic mentions about the surprises that guests can expect, but organisers promise this year's switch on will "look a little different"...whatever that means.
As well as hosting the light switch on, the hotel has a full programme of Christmas-themed events throughout November and December, including a Christmas Jazz Afternoon Tea on November 21st, and Breakfast with Santa for the kids on 5, 12, and 19 December.
