Children asked to imagine life in 2050

Table of Contents

A summer writing workshop encouraging children to imagine life in 2050 is coming to West Kirby.

Local literary arts organisation, Read Now Write Now, has received funding from Arts Council England to run 'The Future 2050' for young people aged 7-11 years.

During these fun workshops, Charlie Lea from Read Now Write Now, will help inspire children to write a postcard to themselves from 2050 by thinking all about how different life could be.

The postcards will then be displayed in the library to help inspire others to think about what the future holds.

The sessions will be held at Birkenhead Library on Saturday `16 July and West Kirby Library on Saturday 6 August, both running from 10.30am to 12pm.
