A women's health and wellbeing conference is coming to New Brighton this September, exploring topics many women struggle to discuss openly.

According to the Wirral Globe, the conference, named Titled Unfiltered: Women, Hormones and Neurodivergence, will be held at New Brighton Cricket Club on 19 September from 10 am to 2 pm.

As illustrated by the name, the conference will cover topics such as perimenopause, PMDD, burnout, identity, and the underdiscussed topic of career fatigue. The event will feature professional and personal insights.

Tiny Tools for Big Feelings CIC is hosting the event. They are a Wirral-based non-profit focused on emotional well-being support. They are members of the Children and Young People's Mental Health Coalition. Carly Openshaw, the founder and an ADHD and anxiety coach, has been working in the field for over a decade.

She said in a statement: "Too many women are quietly struggling with things they don't always have the language for – hormones, burnout, neurodivergence, PMDD, anxiety, masking, menopause, and the emotional load of constantly being the strong one."

She continued, "This event is about creating a space where women can hear real conversations, access expert knowledge, and feel less alone. We want women to leave feeling informed, validated, and empowered, not dismissed or overwhelmed."

The line-up of speakers includes Dr Helen Wall, a women's health GP and menopause specialist, Abbey Brocklehurst, a psychotherapist, and Dr Walaa Mohamed, a GP, author, and empowerment coach.

What attendees can expect is talks from experts, networking opportunities, and all-important panel discussions. For entertainment, there will be live music from Wirral-based singer Sarah Sings.

As a fundraiser for Tiny Tools for Big Feelings CIC, the conference will help the organisation continue its work supporting women, children, and families with emotional wellbeing. They launched in 2026.

Businesses are invited to support through sponsorship, gift bag contributions, or by funding tickets for women unable. Tickets can be booked at www.eventbrite.co.uk.
