A woman has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a car smashed into a café in Wallasey Village in the early hours of this morning.
Police were called to Stollies Café at 106 Wallasey Village around 4:30 am this morning following reports that a black Audi A3 had come off the road and collided with the venue, according to the Wirral Globe.

A 31-year-old woman from Hoylake was arrested at the scene and immediately taken to hospital for a procedure. Thankfully, nobody else was injured in the incident.
Reportedly, tyre marks were visible on the ground where the car lost control before it hit the cafe.
Stollies owner Nick Bowerman told the Globe he was called in the early hours of the morning by his friend Andy, a local taxi driver, who told him what happened.
He said: "There's almost no damage to the wall at all. We're covered by insurance so hopefully we'll be able to get up and running again soon."
Mr Bowerman added that police had left a note and he had called but not yet received an answer.
The café will be closed for the foreseeable future while repairs are carried out.
