A free live music event is taking place on New Brighton Beach on August 22.
As reported by the Wirral Globe, Busk on the Beach at Fort Perch Rock promises stripped-back live performances from a diverse mix of emerging and established artists between 12 pm and 6 pm.
In a statement, the organisers said: "Whether you're looking to discover new local talent or enjoy live music by the coast, Busk on the Beach promises an afternoon of great sounds in a unique seaside setting."
The event is part of the Liverpool Summer of Music programme and is a collaboration between Wirral Council, Sound City, Liverpool City Council and the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.
However, people are still being told to be careful, following a giant hole formed on New Brighton beach on 19 August after water coming from an outfall washed away a large amount of sand.
