Tranmere Rovers have made some new signings during a busy transfer window.
The first was former Watford forward Tom Ince, on a two-year deal, who recently joined Tranmere on trial.
We previously reported that Ince was hoping to impress the club after he was released from Watford in May following his contract ending, which ended in June.
Ince, 34, is the son of ex-Manchester United and England midfielder Paul and brings considerable experience to the League Two side, having scored 103 goals in 505 league appearances across his career.
The forward started his career with Liverpool and has since played at Blackpool, Hull City, Derby County, Huddersfield, Stoke, Reading and most recently Watford, where he scored seven goals in 86 league appearances. This will be his first taste of League Two football.
Boss Darrell Clarke said: "He's played at a very high level throughout his career. He'll give us creativity, composure and versatility in the final third, while his experience will be invaluable to some of our younger players."
Rovers also completed three further signings on Monday, as the BBC reported. Former Aldershot left-back Olly Scott, 25, has joined after scoring once in 14 National League appearances for the Shots last season. He had been on trial with the club.
Two youngsters have arrived from Burnley - winger Charlie Veevers, 21, who spent the past two years with the under-21 side, and defender Jack McEvilly, 19, who was with Burnley's under-21s for three years and had a loan spell with non-league team Clitheroe. Veevers is a former Manchester United trainee.
Scott, Veevers and McEvilly have all signed one-year contracts.
The new signings could make their debuts in Rovers' Carabao Cup preliminary round tie against Rochdale on Saturday. Tranmere's league campaign begins with a home game against Shrewsbury on Saturday, 15 August.
