A Moreton man has pleaded guilty to wounding with intent and possession of a knife following a stabbing on the Woodchurch estate.
Glyn Holland, 41, of Meadfoot Road, was arrested after a man in his 60s was hospitalised with serious injuries following an assault on Hoole Road on June 25.
Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before being taken to the hospital with stab wounds to his shoulder and ribcage. Holland was apprehended by armed officers after the incident, as reported by the Wirral Globe.
The 41-year-old admitted the Section 18 assault and possession of a bladed article in a public place at a hearing at Liverpool Crown Court on July 27.
He will appear again for sentencing on September 1.
