Two people were arrested after police stopped a car in Moreton and found a baseball bat and metal bar inside.
As reported by the Wirral Globe, police pulled the car over on Reeds Lane at around 1:45 pm this afternoon (September 17). They had received intel on the vehicle.
The car was searched, uncovering the weapons, which led to the arrest of a 26-year-old man from Birkenhead and a 36-year-old woman from Leasowe.
Both were arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon. They have been taken to police stations for questioning.
