Maggie's Fest is returning to Brimstage Farm on 5 September. Organisers have promised the event will be bigger than ever before.
It will feature live entertainment, food and drink, and family activities. Stalls from over 20 independent local businesses and charities will also be present. For children, there is hair braiding, face painting, and glitter stations, with proceeds going towards Maggie's Wirral.
Maggie is a national charity that provides free support for those with cancer, and their family and friends, across Cheshire and Merseyside.
The charity is only three years old, and has already welcomed over 6,000 attendees and raised more than £50,000 for the charity's Wirral branch.
Jo from Brimstage Farm said in a statement: "Everyone at Brimstage loves Maggie's Fest and we are so excited to welcome the team from Maggie's back. It's one of the highlights of our year, seeing the community come together in support of such an incredible cause. We've added even more fun this year, and we can't wait to see families making memories and enjoying themselves while helping Maggie's continue their vital work."
Sasha Mathias, Fundraising Manager at Maggie's Wirral, said: "Maggie's Fest has become such a special event for our community. It's a day where families can come together, have fun, enjoy fantastic entertainment and create lasting memories, whilst making a real difference to local people affected by cancer.
"Every ticket purchased, and every pound raised, helps us continue providing free practical and emotional support when it's needed most. We're incredibly grateful to Brimstage Farm, our supporters and everyone who joins us for making this event possible."
Tickets are available now on Eventbrite. The event will run from 12 pm until 'late', and tickets range from £4 to £34.
