Two national retailers have signed up for units at the second phase of The Croft development in Bromborough. It was completed earlier this year.
Goodyear Tyres UK, trading as HiQ Tyres & Autocare, has taken unit 3a, while Easy Bathrooms has signed up to unit 4b, according to Insider Media.
Both retailers have signed ten-year leases, with the deals representing new locations for each business. The deal leaves four units available for lease. Does that mean more shops will move in?
Built by Portal Construction (NW) Ltd, the second phase delivers 28,000 sq ft of trade counter accommodation across six units at the site adjacent to Croft Retail Park.
The completion follows the successful delivery of phase one in 2024. Phase one provided approximately 70,000 sq ft of commercial space across industrial and warehouse units.
Developer Redsun Projects acquired the five-acre site from Homes England as part of its strategy to regenerate commercial land across the North West. New shops in the retail park that have opened in the last year include Popeyes, Foot Asylum, and Wendy's.
Mark Diaper, director at Legat Owen, joint agents for the scheme with B8RE, said in a statement: "Following the success of phase one, with high-profile companies choosing this prominent location to do business, this second phase at The Croft is another important milestone for the project."
He added: "The market remains strong with minimal stock available on the Wirral. The new Starbucks and Wendy's operating adjacent have provided excellent amenities that draw in both businesses and customers to the area."
Fletcher Rae Architects was appointed as the architect. Langton Development Services is acting as the project manager.
