A 12-year-old girl from the Wirral has become an entrepreneur, launching her own cosmetics brand aimed at encouraging young girls to get active and stop worrying about social media.

Reagan Willett is the founder of Roo's by Reagan - Less is More, a sporting lifestyle brand she has developed with her mum Samantha.

Roo's first product is now being manufactured. Their debut product is a compact gift box designed to fit in your gym bag. It contains post-workout must-haves like antifungal cream, anti-chafing balm, lip recovery balm, moisturiser, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant and muscle rub balm.

Reagan's sporty background in showjumping, martial arts, and many other sports, some of which she does alongside her businesswoman mum, inspired the gift box. Young girls who are involved in sports are the key audience for the gift box, because they can easily take the products to competitions, training, and sports events.

The brand is designed with Reagan's passion for being active in mind, and also to send another message.

Reagan and her mother want to "encourage girls to put their phones away for a few hours, get outside, play sport, make friends, try something new and enjoy being children."

Building on that message, Reagan wants girls to stop worrying about makeup and how they look. She wants girls to find confidence by being active and comfortable in their skin.

Reagan and Samantha held a pre-launch in May at a martial arts event where they gave out gift bags under the Roo's brand.

The young lady has big plans alongside her mother to develop a complete sporting range, covering equestrian, skiing, tennis, gymwear, boxing, martial arts and other sporting equipment. The first products are expected to launch in the coming months, although no details have been revealed.
