A group of children damaged a play area in Prenton after ramming equipment with a shopping trolley, according to the Wirral Globe.
Police were called to the play area at Duck Pond Lane Park at 3:20 pm on September 27. Reports said that the children damaged the play area using a shopping trolley.
One witness said they saw a group of four kids take the shopping trolley into the park. It's important to note that the play area is right next to the Aldi and Sainsbury's supermarkets, just off Woodchurch Road in Prenton.
The children rammed and smashed into the equipment with the trolley, according to the witness.
Younger children were in the park at the time, and the resident said one of the children started shouting abuse when confronted.
Merseyside Police said local policing officers are reviewing the incident.
