Detectives are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary in Wallasey on Tuesday evening.
At around 8:50 pm on 13 October, a group of unknown males forced entry to a property on Serpentine Road, in Liscard. Once inside, they demanded money from three male occupants.
One man sustained a cut to the head, a second suffered a minor head injury, and a third was unharmed. The offenders left empty-handed in the direction of Central Park.
CCTV, house-to-house and forensic enquiries are continuing in the area.
Detective Inspector Phil Ryan said: "We believe that the location was targeted by the offenders, for reasons we are looking to establish. This incident left the victims understandably distressed and will of course cause the wider community concern.
"I want to assure people that we are doing all we can to find those responsible, and I would urge anyone with information, CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage which may assist to please come forward as soon as you can. If you live in or around Serpentine Road, please check any devices as you may have captured vital footage or images of those suspects making off."
