Tributes have poured in for one of the founders of a long-standing Prenton garage after her death was announced by the business.
As reported by the Wirral Globe, Linda Malam, nicknamed Lin, helped establish Durley Garage in Prenton in 2002 and died on 24 September.
The garage announced her death in a Facebook post, telling customers Lin had "gained her Angel wings today".
The business said Lin was an "integral part" of building up the business alongside Graham and Greg, who also helped found the garage. The post continued, saying the business "wouldn't be where we are without her".
Durley Garage is a self-described 'family business'. The statement said Lin's death was "incredibly difficult".
Speaking to customers, the garage said that the following weeks may be difficult for staff as they are grieving Lin, but they said they'd be doing their "absolute best to carry on and keep things moving".
The emotional post concluded: "Rest peacefully, Lin. You'll always be a part of the Durley Garage family."
Customers chimed in with tributes on Facebook, with the post having almost 60 comments at the time of writing.
One commentator described Lin as "a beautiful person inside and out", while another said she was an "incredible lady" who had a "beautiful smile" that would be missed.
