Man charged with multiple offences following alleged Tranmere burglary

A 29-year-old man has been charged with vehicle crime offences after being arrested in the early hours of Monday morning.

A man has been charged with multiple offences after an incident in Tranmere in the early hours of Monday morning, according to Merseyside Police.

Officers were called to Sidney Road at around 2.05 am on Monday, 22 June, following reports of a suspected burglary. A man was detained at the scene, and a screwdriver was taken from him.

Ben Ollerhead, 29, of no fixed abode, has now been charged with theft from a motor vehicle, going equipped for theft, vehicle interference, and attempted burglary.

Ollerhead is due to appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court.
