Lauren Auder is set to play a unique all-ages matinee show at Birkenhead Central Library in September, as reported by Birkenhead News.
The gig is on 27 September, and follows the March release of her critically acclaimed sophomore album, Whole World as Vigil. The album is part of the Get It Loud In Libraries programme, which brings live music to local libraries across the country.
Arts Council England funded it alongside the Paul Hamlyn Foundation. It aims to engage and inspire new audiences by giving people of all ages the chance to see artists up close in intimate settings.
Get It Loud In Libraries has previously hosted performances by Wolf Alice and Adele in venues across the UK.
Tickets for the Birkenhead Central Library show are now on sale.
The gig starts at 2:45 pm, and tickets cost £13.85, with a booking fee included. You can purchase them here: http://getitloudinlibraries.com/gigs/
