Students at The Birkenhead Park School received their GCSE results this morning, and the school celebrated another strong year of GCSE performances.
The results build on the school's best-ever GCSE performance in 2025, according to the school.
Among the top performers was Mark, who achieved six grade 9s and four grade 8s. He will progress to Birkenhead Sixth Form College to study politics, geography and maths, with ambitions to work in politics.
"I've had a good time at BPS," Mark said. "I also enjoyed Saturday School. It was very accessible and helped me get great grades."
Former head boy Kalieb achieved results that will take him to Birkenhead Sixth Form College to study history, politics and RE. He has set his sights on something ambitious - becoming prime minister one day.
The school says its transformation extends beyond exam results, with high expectations for attendance and behaviour, strong staff-student relationships, and extensive enrichment opportunities including educational visits and careers education. EPART Educational Trust CEO Mike Kilbride MBE and Head of School Nicola McNamee have led the school's transformation since 2022 to improve pupil behaviour and change educational outcomes.
Headteacher Mrs Dawes said: "Results Day is always incredibly special because behind every grade is a young person who has worked hard, overcome challenges and taken another step towards their future.
She said she was "immensely proud" of the Year 11 students and their "determination, resilience, and ambition" during study and exams.
Although the school has undergone new management and changes, she said she wants every student "to believe they can achieve more than they ever thought possible."
Mrs Dawes added: "The greatest thing we can give a young person is belief in what they are capable of. Today, our students leave us knowing that their future is full of possibilities. We couldn't be prouder of them."
