Engaged couples in Birkenhead could win £1,000 worth of wedding jewellery if they share their proposal stories.
As reported by the Wirral Globe, Beaverbrooks in Birkenhead's Pyramids Shopping Centre has launched a competition to find the UK's favourite engagement stories.
They've also created a Proposal Map of the UK, which lists the 15 most popular places to get engaged, according to Instagram hashtag data. At the top of the list is the picturesque location of the Lake District, closely followed by the London Eye and Tower Bridge.
Other popular spots include the Peak District, Isle of Skye, Stonehenge, Edinburgh Castle, Glen Coe, the Brecon Beacons, and Giant's Causeway.
Sarah Kelso, Beaverbrooks Birkenhead's branch manager, said: "A proposal is one of life's most important milestones, and finding the perfect setting can make the moment even more memorable.
"We created our proposal map to inspire anyone thinking of asking the big question, helping them discover some of the UK's most beautiful places to get engaged."
She added that as proposals are unique and personal, Beaverbrooks is inviting couples to share their proposal stories.
