A man from Bidston has been fined after admitting assaulting two police officers following an incident at a music venue in Birkenhead.
Bradley Kelly, 20, of Observatory Road, Bidston, appeared before Wirral Magistrates' Court on August 5. He pleaded guilty to one count of being drunk and disorderly and two counts of assaulting a police constable in the execution of their duty.
The court heard the offences took place at the Iron Door Club on Argyle Street on May 10. Kelly also admitted assaulting PC George Rigby and PC Edward Christie in Birkenhead on the same date.
Magistrates imposed a £200 fine and ordered Kelly to pay £50 compensation to each officer. He was also ordered to pay £85 in court costs.
