1. Claremont Farm Café
Claremont Farm is a well-known Wirral staple on Old Clatterbridge Road. Their focus is on fresh and locally sourced dishes. Accompanying the food is their farm shop, where customers can buy food directly grown and sourced from the farm.
The eatery prides itself on the local ingredients, and everything is made in-house at the farm or sourced from the area. The cafe is open seven days a week from 9 am- 5 pm. They serve hot food till 3 pm. Claremont is worth a visit for a summer day out and for a nice brunch and coffee stop. The menu includes a menu of classic brunch dishes, hot drinks, and you can even pick your own strawberries this time of year!
2. North Shore Coffee House and Kitchen
North Shore is a great coffee shop for a more relaxed vibe, located on Allport Lane in Bromborough.
North Shore is a relaxed coffee shop serving quality barista-style coffee, amazing cakes and bakes, plus freshly prepared, locally sourced breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes. North Shore is a local staple for a typical cafe feel. Prices are described as reasonable, but the cafe switches out its menus for seasonal goodies so nobody gets bored. However, if you are a sucker for all-day breakfast, they serve it all day. There are also Weekend Specials that the cafe has as well as your normal dishes. They are open from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm on weekdays, and 9 am to 4 pm on weekends.
3. Leaf & Vine Coffee Shop
Leaf & Vine is a cutely-named cafe on Old Hall Road in Bromborough. The best way to describe this coffee shop is gorgeous. It's a flagship cafe that specialises in luxury coffee, specifically a blend of Peru Mountain coffee that they're very proud of.
The cafe sells its own line of coffee as well as other teas. Their menu is littered with aesthetic brunch dishes and drinks. They serve waffles, many egg variations, and signature Leaf & Vine Crumpets. Posh lunch specials are also available, such as Welsh Rarebit, but you can bite into a burger if you wish.
It is located within Inspirations Wholesale and is open from 9 am to 4 pm on weekdays, and 10 am to 3 pm on Sundays.
4. Nettle Café
Port Sunlight is charming enough in itself, but its eateries also make it that bit more special, which is why we introduced you to Nettle. Nettle is a cafe located on Greendale Road and is opposite Port Sunlight Station. It is a community-focused cafe which doubles as a bookshop and is filled with cosy vibes.
Nettle is open from 9 am to 4 pm on weekdays excluding Tuesdays. It is open from 9 am to 3:30 pm on weekends.
The cafe opened just over a year ago, and has already become a hub in the village. However, the cafe stands out because of its free venue hire for wellbeing sessions, and the forest-inspired branding. Reviews praise the beautiful décor, friendly, efficient staff, and describe it as a lovely, cosy place with great coffee and food.
5. Muzzys Breakfast House
Muzzy's at 18A Broadway, Bebington is a local staple for anyone in the area. Muzzy's is always busy, especially on weekends, but its large menu can make up for any wait time you're experiencing. Muzzy's is especially known for its breakfasts, and serves an intriguing Dare Me to Eat, which is a huge Full English.
However, they also serve healthy options, such as smashed avocado on toast with plenty of veggies and salmon. You can also find salads, sandwiches, burgers, and more on the menu. Desserts are also in abundance, with homemade cakes being a highlight.
Muzzy's is open every day from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
6. Secrets@Number 7
Located in Bebington, Secrets is considered by some to be a hidden coffee shop, but locals know it's a hotspot. It's a notably small cafe, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in speciality coffee. One review called the eggs the best eggs they'd ever had, and the cafe is praised for its value for money and small-style charm. Secrets is open from 9:30 am to 3 pm Monday to Saturday.
