Tranmere Rovers have announced the return of their annual Family Day at Prenton Park next month.
The event will take place on Sunday, July 12, from 11 am to 3 pm, with a range of activities planned for all supporters, according to the Wirral Globe.
Fans of the club can explore Prenton Park through stadium tours, visiting the changing rooms and the fancy digs usually exclusive to players and staff.
A furry friend will also be there, as Rover the Dog, the club's beloved mascot, is scheduled to attend. For parents, there will be a "turn up and play" activity for children, run by Tranmere Rovers in the Community (TRIC).
There is also an opportunity to meet players from the men's and women's first-team squads, and players will be available to sign autographs and pose for photographs, although who will be there is unknown at this time. Still, newly appointed manager Darrell Clarke is expected to attend, which is a big deal given his recent appointment as Tranmere's boss and his replacement of Pete Wild.
The exciting event is part of the club's effort to engage with supporters during the summer break before the new football season begins.
What's great is that fans of the club who prefer calm settings can register in advance to meet the players in a quiet setting.
A spokesperson for the club said in a statement: "We look forward to welcoming you to Wirral's Family Club."
Further details about the event and registration information are available through the club's official channels.
