Tranmere Rovers are inviting grassroots football teams and local charities to register their interest in free matchday opportunities at Prenton Park.
According to the club, they're offering three experiences for community groups to get involved on home matchdays. Grassroots teams can apply to become flag bearers, welcoming players onto the pitch, watching the pre-match warm-up and taking their flag home as a souvenir.
Young players can also register for the Bark of the Net half-time penalty challenge, where they take on club mascot Rover The Dog on the Prenton Park pitch.
Both experiences are free, though participating clubs, coaches, parents and supporters will need to purchase match tickets for their selected fixture.
Local charities are being invited to hold bucket collections at home games. Volunteers can position themselves around the stadium when turnstiles open to collect donations before kick-off, and are welcome to stay and watch the match afterwards.
Places are subject to availability and completing an expression of interest form does not guarantee a spot. The club says it will prioritise applications from teams and groups that have not previously taken part, to give more people the chance to enjoy a matchday experience.
