A new café has opened in Bebington with owners saying they want it to be more than just a place to grab a coffee.

Three/Sixteen Café opened on 20 October. The café is located at 228 Town Lane in Higher Bebington, where the colourfully green Shamrock Café used to be.

The Shamrock Café closed in 2025, due to the owners retiring.

The café opened over 20 years ago, and was known for its highly-praised English breakfasts and proper café feel.

However, Three/Sixteen Café has now opened in its place, signifying a new era for the address.

Three/Sixteen is run by Living Hope Church, which is based at Victoria Hall, also in Bebington.

Looking at the menu, you can find a selection all day breakfasts, including an extra large English and a vegetarian breakfast. You'll also find breakfast bin lids, which come with free tea or coffee.

The owners said they hope the café will become a welcoming space for the community, whether visitors are popping in for a drink, stopping for a bite to eat, meeting friends or simply fancying a bit of company.

In a social media post on their opening, Three/Sixteen said: "Wow.... What a busy couple of days! We have been overwhelmed at the amount of support and lovely feedback we have received after our first 2 days of opening. Here is a reminder of our opening hours.... We would love to see you".

Three/Sixteen opens at 8:30am Tuesday to Saturday.
