Little Sprout café has reopened at its original site in Premier Plants in Heswall garden centre after temporarily closing last month for improvements.
As reported by the Liverpool Echo, the café, which first opened in 2024, is now serving customers on the weekends while the team works on an expanded new space within the garden centre.
Little Sprout announced the temporary closure in August, saying the break would help the business return "in a much better position to serve you all". The café is the sister site to Sprout Kitchen Garden at Premier Plants of Ledsham near Ellesmere Port.
The team shared an update on social media, saying they've been "busy working on something much more exciting" during the closure. The cafe previously said in August they didn't know when they'd be back, but it's sooner rather than later.
"We're building a bigger Little Sprout," the café announced. "Our new space is currently in the works, giving us more room to grow Little Sprout, expand what we can offer and build the team ready for our next chapter."
The business said it would take reopening "week by week" and add extra opening days when possible as it juggles the new build and hiring process.
"We're so excited to get the doors back open, see all of our lovely customers again, and to finally share what we've been working on behind the scenes," the team added.
