A new Vietnamese restaurant and coffee shop should join your Wallasey coffee and cafe guide soon, as the new venue has opened on New Brighton's seaside parade at Marine Point.
As reported by the Wirral Globe, M1 Coffee & Co opened at Kings Parade on September 16, serving slow-drip phin coffee, phở and bánh mì.
The business, which is family-run and trades under the same M1 name used for its chain of nail salons. There's even an M1 nail salon in New Brighton.
The concept of the coffee house and restaurant came from the family's method of brewing coffee and cooking in the back of their salons during breaks at the salons.
The menu is centered around Vietnamese robusta coffee dripped through a phin metal filter and served with sweetened condensed milk, alongside an espresso bar for more conventional drinks.
Food on the menu includes phở noodle soup, bún bò Huế, a spicy beef noodle soup from central Vietnam, bánh mì baguette sandwiches and sharing plates.
The move extends the M1 brand from nails into hospitality at one of Wirral's busiest leisure destinations.
Marine Point already hosts a cluster of national and independent food and drink operators, including Costa Coffee, Nando's and Marino Lounge.
M1 Coffee & Co is now open at 14 Marine Point, Kings Parade, New Brighton, CH45 2PB.
