Seacombe pensioner fined after pleading guilty to Liscard bicycle theft back in May

A 68-year-old Seacombe man has been fined £80 and ordered to pay compensation after admitting to stealing a bicycle from outside the Old Courthouse in Liscard. He stole the bike back in May and paid £40 to the bike owner in compensation.

A pensioner has been fined after pleading guilty to stealing a bicycle in Liscard.

As reported by the Wirral Globe, Kizim Fehi, 68, of Borough Road, Seacombe, appeared at Wirral Magistrates Court on Friday, September 11, where he admitted to theft of a pedal cycle.

The court heard that Fehi stole the bike from outside the Old Courthouse on Manor Road in Liscard on May 17.

Magistrates fined Fehi £80 and ordered him to pay £40 compensation to the bicycle's owner.

The court date comes soon after a Liscard man was jailed for a year for dangerous driving of a bike during a police chase in the area, which ended when police found the 23-year-old man on Hambledeon Drive.
