Man in hospital with head injury after e-scooter fall in Liscard

Emergency services, including an air ambulance, responded to Steel Avenue on Tuesday afternoon after a man in his 40s fell from an e-scooter.

A man in his 40s is in hospital with a head injury. He fell off an e-scooter in Liscard yesterday afternoon.

According to the Liverpool Echo, emergency services were sent to Steel Avenue around 3:15 pm after reports of a crash. After, the man was taken to hospital for treatment.

The road was cordoned off at the junction with Sheen Road while police dealt with the crash. An air ambulance was also seen near the scene.

One resident who lives near the cordon told the Echo: "There was a big commotion afterwards, lots of police cars and it looked like two or three ambulances."
