As reported by the Wirral Globe, Leslie Whitehead was reported missing after leaving his flat on Mallard Way on 16 September.

Whitehead last seen wearing black pants, a black bubble coat and black shoes, and did not return home as expected. CCTV captured him leaving his flat at around 1:55 pm on that day.

Mr Williams observed that Whitehead's failure to return was unusual, as he usually visited Mr Williams for a cup of tea and a chat.
