38-year-old man charged after boy's bike stolen outside Irby shop

38-year-old Kyle Murphy has been charged with theft of a pedal cycle, theft from a shop, and three breaches of court bail conditions after a reported bike theft on August 8. The bike was stolen outside a shop on Thingwall Road in Irby.

A man has been charged following the reported theft of a teenage boy's bike outside a shop in Irby.

As reported by the Wirral Globe, Kyle Murphy, 38, who has no fixed address, was charged with theft of a pedal cycle, theft from a shop and three breaches of court bail conditions.

On August 8, the police received a report at around 4:50 pm that a bike had been stolen outside a shop on Thingwall Road.

Officers carried out CCTV enquiries and spoke to witnesses in the area before Murphy was arrested.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear before Liverpool Magistrates’ Court today, September 2.
