A new manager has been appointed at a West Kirby care home.

Chloe Bowe recently started her new role as home manager at Riversdale Care Home, which is owned by the We Care Group.

She started out as a carer four years ago, before progressing to senior care assistant and then deputy manager at the home, which caters for up to 40 residents.

It is currently undergoing a series of renovations, including new flooring in the living area, a new shower room, and work set to begin on ensuites soon.

Chloe said: “Throughout my career at Riversdale I’ve always worked hard to ensure our residents feel comfortable, cared for, and that the space reflects their needs – care should be about what the residents want, and they should always come first.

“I’m extremely grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given by We Care Group. The whole team is supportive and approachable, and I feel truly valued. I’ve settled into my new role as manager really well, and I’m looking forward to continuing to make a difference to our wonderful residents.”

Bernie Suresparan, founder and CEO of We Care Group, said: “It’s a privilege to see Chloe progress at Riversdale and to now be taking on the role of manager.

"Her hard work over the years has been hugely appreciated, and we know she’s going to thrive in her new leadership role.

“Chloe is passionate about putting residents at the heart of every decision, and it’s this approach that is central to our work at We Care Group.”

During a Care Quality Commission inspection in January 2025, the home was rated as 'requires improvement'.
