Table of Contents
The list of roads and pavements that will be improved across West Kirby, Hoylake and Meols has been revealed.
It forms part of £7 million of work scheduled to take place across the borough over the next 12 months.
They will be funded through grants from the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority’s City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement, alongside government funding.
Wirral Council says the programme has been designed "based on expected funding levels, the condition of the road network, ward councillor feedback and a risk‑based prioritisation process". The work is in addition to repairs to potholes.
They added: "Works will be scheduled between April 2026 and March 2027 to minimise disruption.
"Some roads not included in the programme may still receive preparatory works, such as pre‑patching ahead of 2027/28 resurfacing, or other maintenance activities carried out separately during the year."
