Large police presence seen in Liscard on Friday night

Multiple Merseyside Police vehicles descended on Wallasey Road after reports of anti-social behaviour, with five police cars and two vans attending the scene. This was outside The Boot pub, although the pub wasn't involved in the incident.

There was a large police presence in Liscard on Friday night after officers descended on a man responsible for anti-social behaviour, according to the Wirral Globe.

Pictures posted to social media showed multiple Merseyside Police vehicles outside The Boot pub in Wallasey Road. According to local reports, the popular pub was not involved in the incident.

Five police cars and two vans attended the scene. An eyewitness, who did not want to be named, said officers arrested a man who was barred from the area and reportedly had a history of violence.

No more information has been released about the incident at this time.
